One Dog, One Life Service Dog Training Program
Service Dog Application
With Alberta Certified and Government Producer Holdfast K9
The Kadence Legacy Fund is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing professionally trained service dogs. Through our partnership with K9 Holdfast, we ensure that each dog is carefully selected, trained, and matched to meet the unique needs of each veteran or individual with PTSD.
We encourage all applicants to listen to this in-depth conversation on Mind Beyond the Mission,
Where we discuss the realities of receiving and working with a service dog, including training standards, expectations, and long-term commitment.
🎧 This is one of the most informative discussions on service dogs and will help you understand what this journey truly requires.
